Farida launched her own blog!

“I have been long waiting to create my own blog and write about the awesome events that I attend as well as some Digital Inspiration Stories. Finally, I launched my blog, ready to share my experiences and knowledge with others!
As a non-native English Speaker, I was always worried and nervous to ever get judged for my blog posts, so I would constantly put it off. I also didn’t know anything about creating a blog page, until recently I took some short online courses on how to create a blog and bought a domain, to begin with. I also started attending more events and joined meet-ups where I got motivated to share the information with the rest. So now, I finally made my first couple posts on my page http://weeklyinspired.com/category/events/. I am not a professional at writing a blog, but I really enjoy meeting new people, going to amazing events, learning about digital marketing and inspiring others with my personal experiences.”

Kriti started an Instagram page to inspire more girls to study computer science!
In her own words:
“I have been toying with the idea of starting an Instagram handle to encourage girls to study CS. After hearing there was a drastic drop in the number of girls in the year below me at university I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands.”

Ines is making progress towards diversity in tech!

“A few months ago my colleague and I did a small workshop for young girls showing them what we do and teaching them some basics of UX design and Frontend development. Yesterday the HR department called me to tell me one of the girls applied for an internship with us.”
