Celebrations ??

Milly is celebrating a press article!

In her own words:

“I have opened up on my second lingerie startup journey and on my experience with breast cancer now 10 years ago! I am now happy and ready to share more and support more badass women on their own journey! Article link: bit.ly/MillyElvisforVirginStartUp

OCTOBER means Breast Cancer Awarness month! 👊🏾 and for that I am absolutely thrilled to be the main feature on @virginstartup website. I'm talking all things motivation, purpose and what led me to do what I do. Behind every entrepreneur there is a fiercely magical WHY that turns a person with a dream into a powerhouse – mine was a seriously high amount of lumps found in both of my breasts which included a *naughty* one at age 21 – more about that in my later posts. Over 253 of you shared this article! My IG stories have frozen since then but I see you sharing it in your stories 🤗🤗🤗 for which I am deeply grateful! Important note: ladies check your boobies! We love them but don't let them kill you 💕 Side note: not only this was published on BREAST CANCER AWARNESS MONTH but also on the 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ME BEING FULLY CLEAR OF ANY KIND OF LUMPS and on the iconic OCTOBER 3RD #meangirls !!! 🤗 I hope this inspires at least ONE person to check their boobs… then start a business! 😁🙏🏾 Read full article: link in bio 👆 #onestepclosertoForbes . . . . . #femalefounders #femaleentrepreneurship #femaleentrepreneur #femaleempowerment #femtech #fashtech #sextech #october3rd #breastcancerawareness #breastcancerawarenessmonth

Ashley started her new job at Twitch!

In her own words:

Congratulations Ashley! I’m very excited for you and for Twitch for getting you onboard as a software engineer!! And I’m very curious about what will be your snack of choice in this office 😉

I’ve never been one to wear purple but I guess I’ll make an exception today. SAY HIII to @twitch’s newest software engineer, aka MEE! ⠀⠀ I’m so happy the interview process is over tbh LOL. I started interviewing in September and bombed a couple phone screens, felt rly stupid, studied, then came back and hit the interview circuit rly hard for 2-3 weeks, and ended up getting 5 offers from the 5 on-sites I did. ⠀⠀ I always imagined the hardest part of interviewing would be the actual interviews— and don’t get me wrong, dat shit had me STRESSED.. I was breaking out, couldn’t sleep well, had a meltdown, the whole shebang. But it was actually even harder choosing which company to go to. I always pictured getting an offer from the company of my dreams and being elated. But the reality is that there was no easy choice bc I could see myself working at any of these 5 companies, facing different challenges, learning different things, and being happy. Tbh I still wonder whether I made the best choice. But dats just how real life be! I’m super stoked to be starting this next chapter. Can’t wait to grow, challenge myself, and learn all the things!
